My boyfriend always has major pains in his chest.?

Every day, he says his chest hurts. Sometimes he can't sit or stand. It hurts to breathe and it's a bad enough pain he has to stay hunched over. It's in the exact middle of his chest. Some one please try and help me figure out why he hurts?
