If you have a hunch who your soulmate is could it be true?

I have a hunch someone i hardly know is my soulmate but im not 100% sure, i could only go by what my eyes and ears sees and hears... And my skin and my heart and hair and lungs and well you get the idea. But theres a possibility that this person is with someone. What should i do if Im afraid of rejection? What if someone else is interested in me as well? Should i continue to wait for my soulmate?
